As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Pan Am Path

Woke up at 5am only to realize that I don't actually have to be up this early.  I no longer coach at PBB so my mornings are free for me to spend it however I'd like to.  Went back to bed and then woke up to make myself a hearty breakfast... that was a bit on the burnt side but hey, it still tasted delish!
Complications with boxing scheduling meant I also had the afternoon off but I was ready and wanting to train.  Got geared up and headed out for a run.
My roommate has been telling me about these notorious hills that are a killer on the calves but a miracle worker on the booty so I headed out in search of them.
Viola... I found them!!!
Sure the hills don't look so big but when you consider two of those three little specs, which are people by the way, are 6ft tall, then you can understand the size of these hills.
Detoured away from the hills after putting my roommate's claim to the test.
Headed out to find a decent running path.
I'd like to note here that I ABSOLUTELY HATE these kind of graded stairs and even the graded parts of sidewalks like this where you can see down.  I struggled going down these stairs, felt so nauseous, but had convinced myself that if I got down them then I found for sure treat myself to a different way up.
The route I found was actually the Don River Trail.
It took me under bridges, along the river, and even past a certain someone's condo.
I found a massive display with the details of the path so I had to snap a pic.
And then I saw this -- "Pan Am Path" written right on the path.
Continued along the path, not really knowing where it was going to take me.
Ended up running beside the lake, very cool.
I had convinced myself to run down to the CN Tower and that's exactly what I did.
I ran to the base of the tower, snapped this pic, then ran all the way back home.
17.57kms ran today with a few hours before tonight's boxing.
Sounds a bit insane, I know, but I'm an athlete and yesterday I already told you I am steel, I am stone, I can do this.  I am doing this.
