As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Back to Training and Eating to Fuel It

Was "recommended" to take a full week off of training by my doctor.
I gave it two days... two FULL days.  That's super long in my fitness-fanatic world.
Two days off of training and I was back at it today.
My roommate has the next two days off from work so I chillaxed with her.
She staying home meant she got to see just how much cooking and eating I do on a daily bases.  If I'm not training than I'm cooking and eating.  And if I'm not cooking and eating then I'm either out grocery shopping or sleeping.
Cooked up a mean, lean steak today and it was delish.
My roommate has been on this vegetarian kick so I tried to be supportive by telling her that my steak "tasted absolutely disgusting" but really it was absolutely amazing.
Tomorrow is Happy Ice Cream Wednesday but I've got a busy day and no ice cream date lined up so tonight i was spoiled with some homemade pancakes.
Tried to balance it out with a spinach, egg white omelette but it was my cheat meal.
