As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Smelly But Ready to Fight

Laundry is such a bastard, especially on days like today when I have a busy schedule of training here and there.  I do laundry probably twice a week and have to pay extra for "bulk loads".  I have enough clothes to do it only once a week but all that sweaty clothes sitting in my hamper in the corner of my room.... no thanks!

Today I tried something different.  I changed pants but decided to wear the same sweater to all my training sessions.  First, it started off with me running in it.
And then I headed out and got in some solid rounds of sparring in it.
And then I ended off the day with a two hour team training session in it.
An overdose of smelliness coming from that sweaty sweater.
It was definitely fueled by this, an extra strong coffee -- a double long espresso.
