As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

An Overdose of Sweetness

Pure evil in my mind is now defined as rushing off to training and having to pass this place -- the new Lindt chocolate store.  I didn't even know they had such a place but holy temptation.  And to have a lady handing out samples?!  Really... how can I say no???
Forget the evil, there is good in this world for my tummy, like this massive salmon grilled steak I was treated to tonight on College Street.  And no, I didn't eat all that rice.  I may have lived in Korea for over 11 years but even I don't eat my body weight in starchy carbs like such.
Awww the CN Tower.  Everything had to stop when I looked up and saw this.
I had to take a picture of it in all it's awesomeness.
And speaking of awesomeness, this cutie is beyond shy for the cameras but he is by far one of the sweetest people I have ever met.  About 9 years ago, while visiting Canada, my purse was stolen when I was on a first date with him.  Instantly I was penniless and homeless but he made me his priority and took care of me.  He even gave me a home to stay in!
