As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Getting Down to Business... Wednesday, June 15

In English class I used to hate it whenever the teacher would assign a homework assignment and say "you can write about whatever you want".  I never was one to favor such an undirected approach to things.  Give me direction, some kind of starting point.  At least if I don't like where I'm starting I can take it somewhere else.

The same falls true with me being here in Canada.  It's as if I got off that plane and God said "now go do whatever you like".

What do I want to do?!

The problem isn't with having a lack of ideas; the problem is having too many.

Am contemplating bringing my original company, Flipside Fitness, here to Canada but launching a Canadian version of it.  Am also contemplating another business, a product line, and am currently discussing doing business with other businesses -- product endorsement.

I have three business ventures on the go, possible clientale for two of them, a financial sponsor for one of them, and definitely a market for two of the three.  Shipments for the product endorsement start arriving tomorrow, I got some wicked hookups for my product line that I have to follow up on, and I have a Monday morning business meeting next week that I'm super stoked about. Things are looking good... real good.
