As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Exploring the Awesomeness of Mexico City Downtown

I could get used to waking up to these amazing people!
Not sure if I could ever get used to the subway though.
It was packed and it wasn't even "busy time"... oh gosh.
They took me on a walking tour of downtown Mexico City and it was nothing like I had imagined it to be.  It was what I thought Europe would be like.
Downtown Mexico is down right awesome.
I loved their massive buildings and the flood of people.
It's just full of life!
Mexico, I definitely heart you!
One of the things I always look for in the countries I've visited are street performers.
Not too sure what to write here except to remember walking through this massive crowd and looking left, right, up, down and all around.
Stepped into this massive building with my crew and instantly was speechless.
It was incredibly gorgeous and so majestic.
Checked out some pyramids... well, tried to but I got told I had to pay because I wasn't a local.  My crew tried to convince them I'm part Mexican after all I do have a Mexican boxing license.  That counts for something, right?!
More shots of the city because it was just so amazing.
And of course some shots of my crew.  Ice cream, smiles and love for everyone!
No singing for me though, thanks.  Loved their suits though.  Handsome singers.
