As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Productively Busy with Business...Tuesday, July 19

  • Scored a newer Blackberry phone!!!
  • Sealed a deal with the local pool so I can host an Aqua Boot Camp there.
  • Got my flyer posted at a few local businesses.
  • Was approached about coaching at a community centre for Native women.
  • Registered at St. James Community Centre.
  • Scored a sweet, insider's scoop business contact.
  • Had a business meeting regarding hosting a community boot camp.
  • Started a business proposal regarding a training facility I'm interested in.
  • Coached my Flipside Fitness boot camp in High Park.
  • Got approached in the park about personal training.

...AND I got a Toronto Public Library card FINALLY, so now I can do my business research there with real books, a massive desk, a full screen computer, and no distractions with Balboa jumping on me or food from the fridge calling my name!!! Cool... Geeky cool.
