As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Representing and Really Owning It

Oh, what's that I see on the windshield of this downtown car?!
Ya, ya... Flipside Fitness is representing!!!
And I'm representing loud and proud these short shorts.  Second time E-V-E-R wearing these but I'm going to own them.  I wear what I want, when I want to and why I want to.
Today I just really had a refreshing awakening after I read an email a friend sent me.
Emails friends sent me actually -- plural.  So I took this energy and headed out for a run.
I stopped at these unused train tracks to snap a picture but in doing so everyone passing by looked at me.  No one uses the train tracks so I guess they thought I was odd standing there.  I don't care.  I ended up using them for a pretty intense footwork exercise and even had a runner join me in on the exercise.
