As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Pushing Through the Negative to be Grateful for the Positive

I got all dolled up tonight for a special night out with some pretty special people -- a group of close friends that I adored.  So I took a shower, got dressed, and then started to put my makeup on.
When I finished getting ready, I snapped this picture... and then I showered again.
These people right here... four people who have been so incredibly encouraging, supportive, sweet, and nothing short of awesome.  I love them all -- the Polish Princes, J-Doll, the Captain, and Skittles.
Tonight we and some other friends headed out for a fun-filled night and it felt so good to be with them.  It's nights like this I feel so completely blessed to be back in Canada, surrounded by people I love and people that love me.
