As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Straight Outta Cabbagetown

Had to head downtown to hand out more of my questionnaires for my
Second Dream and was reminded why exactly I'm so happy I'm an entrepreneur.
It excludes me from this daily rat race.
Met up with the Captain for an espresso... or two... and some oatmeal.
Yes, I'm off keto.  The Philippines with it's love for rice at pretty much every meal, just like Korea, is going to kill me so I may as well get used to carbs now.

Am officially moved out of Cabbagetown... I miss it already.
I don't really miss my apartment that is, not my unit, but I do miss the people in my
building and the awesomeness of the community.  I'll never forget when I lost Balboa.
Everyone there really tried to help me.
I had to make two trips to the storage unit, numerous trips out to the dump and
in the hassle of it all I had no more room or effort for my ever-so-beloved BMX bike.
Decided to just leave it in Cabbagetown.
I used to ride this back when I was in university, racing off to boxing with my gloves around my neck and Biggie Small blasting on my earphones.  Those were the days.

wow, I'm so surprised you gave up your bike. I remember you fondly talking about it in other posts. Hopefully the new owner will have some good memories with it.

Hey Jenn!!!!
Ya, I'm surprised too and I was super sad to see it leave me but I felt it was something I had to do. The money will help me in the Philippines and I figure I can buy another one later one, once I launch my next company.
