As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Full Day of Gym Nasty Sweet Sweat

Love, love, LOVE this boxing club -- Elorde!
I know it's the Philippines but I'm wearing a sweater.  It's not that I was cold here but instead I wore the sweater because I had just finished boxing and didn't think the Uber driver would appreciate my soaked-to-the-core body sitting in his car.  I figured the sweater would conceal it somewhat.
Exhausted from boxing but totally pumped and ready for more weeks of hard training to come.
Bloody knuckles and a very sore pulled groin didn't stop me from hitting the weights tonight.
I'm here to train, that's my only focus here so training continues, regardless of any injury.
After a hard day of intense training, I then lounged with my little man.
Balboa, that little boy loves me regardless of how stinky or sore I get.  He's my biggest fan. Correction, he's my biggest littlest fan!
