As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Planning and the Change of Plans

Spent my afternoon in the present of a dream materializing.
I was sight seeing the much anticipated new location for some's next dream.  No, not my dream,
but trust me, it definitely got me thinking and got me missing the beginning days of Hulk's.
In the evening I attended at party hosted by Heineken.
I had missed out on last night's party so I definitely wasn't going to miss tonight's.
It was hosted in this amazing old building where the ceiling opened up at various points
to expose the above floors looking down.
Unfortunately we ended up having to leave the cool beats of that party but we managed to find another great party with equally cool beats, over at 20 20.
I'm friends with one of the owners of this place so there's always someone I know here, her,
but the place is always buzzing with interesting people.
The place got packed pretty quickly though so I found a cozy end of the bar to occupy and dance in.
