As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

For the Love of my Waistline

On Thursdays I'm treated to a special breakfast so off to Wildflour I went.
...went to tease my senses and bombard them with all the beautiful sights and smells of all the
beautifully fabulous carbs.
They're so pretty.  I want one of each... I'm not joking.
But instead, I'm a good girl, well kind of.
This isn't the healthiest of breakfasts I could of chose but I did share a bit so the calories and fat got passed on.  This is the one day of the week I eat breakfast out so I tagged it as my "happy meal".
But of course, leaving Wildflour came with taking like a billion pictures and seriously wanting to lick every piece of beautiful pastry they had.  Bread is my kryptonite and seeing all this gorgeous bread but not eating any of it is brutal but what doesn't break you makes you stronger.

(P.S.  I will always love you bread.)
