As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Going Full Speed... Friday, June 9

My stove isn't hooked up yet so I headed out for breakfast.

Got my head shaved at a local barbershop.

Reunited with "Big Chill", a fresh fruit drink shop that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Picked up some home needs for the new condo -- a dish set, glasses, floor mats, etc.

Attended a special birthday dinner tonight and was reminded of the "wonderful world" of traffic in the Philippines.  What took only 20 minutes going home, after rush hour, took almost a solid two hours going there... Ouch.  Arrived "fashionably late" but was greeted by lots of smiles and hugs as everyone asked me when I had returned to the Philippines.  Just yesterday I was sitting on a plane, taking that long 32.5hr journey here, but now I was mingling and enjoying the evening as if I hadn't even left.

Feels so weird to acknowledge just the other day I was in Canada and now I'm back.  I didn't even skip a beat... like a champ!
