As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Calorie Killing and then Overdosing

I've added Saturday morning run to my weekly training and stopping for this picture, I realized this run and the spontaneity with where it took me was so metaphoric for my life.
Two years ago I was living in Korea.
Several months ago I was living in Canada.
One month ago I moved to the Philippines after what was simply suppose to be a 3 month visit.
Enjoyed an amazing dinner out with these two amazing people at a Japanese restaurant tonight.
Nothing makes you feel extra special like the head chef and co-owner pulling up a chair to talk to you.  My dinner guests are familiar with these two men so it was really nice to personally meet them.
Some of the ultra delish dishes that we feasted on tonight.
And of course the desserts.  They were completely packed to the max with full flavours and lots of sweetness.  It was an overdose of sweetness but who was I to complain?!  Exactly.
