As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Let's Get this Bad Boy Printed... Saturday, July 1

I celebrated Canada Day -- Canada's 150th birthday -- by finalizing my business plan set for here, in the Philippines.  It's been a busy week but today I finally got a chance to designate a good chunk of hours to working on my business proposal.  I finished it, finally, and then I headed out to print it.  No such luck.  Makati may be a busy and infested city during the week but when the weekend hits it's pretty dead here.  A lot of the businesses don't open because the people just aren't here.  More people work here than live here.

I can't even remember when I started working on my business plan but it was all set in Toronto and then a little over a month ago I decided to set it here in the Philippines so I had to change it all.  Toronto is so different than the Philippines and so I had to start a big portion of my research all over again.  But now it's done.  I was really hoping to get it printed today but now it'll have to wait till Monday.

My business proposal is done... it's 49 pages long.
