As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Back to Full-Speed Business

Kicking off the day with a morning fasted run... yeah, my favourite.
[Enter me rolling my eyes here and hoping you got the overdose of sarcasm there.]
Keeping it classy, drinking right from the blender.  Because when your goal is to save those gains and get in that protein, class or no class, it doesn't even matter.  Priorities my friends... priorities.
Morning fasted cardio was balanced out with an intense upper body workout tonight and abs.
Oh the good old ab roller.  Total love/hate relationship with it.

Speaking of love/hate, I stopped rolling up these handwraps after the third time Balboa unraveled them today.  He absolutely loves unraveling them and I hate rolling them up.
Balboa was exceptionally playful today and made quite the mess.
He dragged my shirt from off the bed in the bedroom, the pillow from the couch in the family room, the handwraps from the floor of the kitchen, and then he passed out from the exhaustion of it all.
I couldn't exactly get mad at him though, he was just so cute, and what he had done was pretty much an hour of functional weight training for dogs.  This is why he's so muscular!
Pictures for the press at Drink Manila's first year anniversary party I attended tonight.
The party was held in an art gallery that had me way too distracted and curious about the building itself.  It was so industrial looking and instantly I thought of how I'd host my business in it.
A large crowd showed up for the special event and I met some very cool new people.
Can you spot me in the crowd here?  I'm the only blonde and the person I'm talking to is the only Indian lady there.  She's a dance instructor who teaches Bollywood dance here in the Philippines.
A band played while I mingled the night away.
