As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Working a Bit Too Hard,... Maybe...?!

I work hard, I definitely work hard, but I don't think I play hard.
I don't think I really play, come to think of it.
I'm either working or working out... both work.
I contemplated heading out for sprint training with the Makati Runners.
I've just been really mentally frustrated lately with things.  Regardless, I made it out for training.
I've been branded... Makati Runners Club.
And to think up until today I've actually been calling them the Makati Running Club... oops.  Sorry.
Got my Makati Runners Club band on over my overly glossy arm.
Killed it at sprints tonight.... damn!!!
On my run back home from sprint training, I saw this particular outfit in one of the store windows.
I love, love, LOVE it!!!  I feel like the more and more I'm in sweats, the more and more I really want to go opposite with what I wear when I "clean up".  I go from tough boxer to ultra chic.

This would be my ultimate "Boss Babe" outfit.

"Hi, I'm Amy.  CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse."
Yeah... I can totally see myself throwing down that label in a business meeting with that outfit on.
