As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Protein Packed and People Packed Kind of Day

Every Thursday I go out for breakfast so today that's exactly how I started my day off.
This was the picture I took during my breakfast but because the restaurant is hosting a photo contest on Instagram, I got creative and paired it up with a meaningful story.

Random notebooks I saw at the mall that I snapped pictures of... too funny.
Headed out tonight for a business networking event -- KMC's opening partner.  I had been invited by a fellow fierce female I met a few weeks ago, a Filipino bodybuilder who is as gorgeous as she is cool.
The event was okay, nothing really to write home about, but I did get a chance to have some good conversations with some new people I met today.  I've been told "a closed mouth doesn't get fed" so I'm definitely trying hard to get out there and put myself out for the public to get to know and get familiarized with who I am and what I'm launching.
