As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Ending the Week on a Busy Note

Padwork is one thing, padwork with Coach Bogs is a whole other thing.
Throwing those combos and whatnot get tested but so does my focus because he's always acting silly.
Here are some clips from round 5 of 6 of today's padwork.
I've got a big wedding coming up and so I headed to Greenhills to buy shoes.
Did I ever mention I hate shopping?!  The fact that this place is bargin Heaven helps lessen my hate for shopping but I'm still not a fan of shopping.

What I am a fan of though is food... definitely a big fan.
Tonight I was treated out to dinner at my friend's Indian restaurant, Mantra.  I love his spicy food but just recently I've become addicted to ta peanut appetizer they serve up.
