It was when I thought I had everything that I realized I had nothing. I left Korea with whatever I could fit in my suitcase and instantly I was taught not to dwell on the materialistic things of life but to focus on the real. Now I have what many perhaps think is nothing but it's everything. I live in a home that is 17x smaller than my place in Korea, I only own a handful of shirts that are appropriate for my business meetings, and I don't have a bank account but that's okay because I really don't have much money to put in it anyways. But I am safe, I have my health, a positive circle of friends and family surround me, I'm happy, and I'm building an amazing future on my own terms.
Am feeling extra blessed these days and when I count my blessings I count Balboa and boxing twice.
I definitely count the Philippines and, yes, I do count Korea.
Do you count your blessings or do you not even know how blessed you are?
We ALL are blessed, every single one of us. What have you been blessed with? Think about it.
