As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Boxing-Filled Day

My morning view.  Good morning Philippines, I love you!
Coach Bogs got new glasses!  He looks so grown up now... but he's still equally as silly as before.
Always positive vibes and good times at Elite.  Their coaches really are awesome people.
I'm now only training at Elite one day a week, on Tuesdays when I need to come to Makati to coach my Empowered boxing class at Hernandez Boxing.
I come to Makati around 3:30pm and stay till about 9pm, which means I have to pack training and coaching gear, plus a post training meal, all in one bag.
Coaching a full class, totally worth carrying my body weight worth of gear around.
The class cap is six, eight came out.  Loved their energy.
Whenever I am coaching, I am reminded exactly why I'm doing this.  I absolutely love it.  I love boxing, health and fitness, and I love coaching, it's a merge of so many loves.
