As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Full Day of Fabulocity

Met up with the Philippines army to meet some of the boxing coaches.
When I think of a boxing club, I think of a scene out of a Rocky movie. A place that's gritty and hardcore. So basic but so badass. Today I found my Filipino version -- the Philippines Army Boxing Club. With its lack of air con and coaches sporting army shirts, I knew I had to give it a try.
Important meeting at the Bicutan DOH Treatment Rehab Center.
I am officially now working with Bicutan DOH on empowering their women and I'm so excited.
Some of the ladies on my Empowered FitSquad crew.  I just met them today but already I love them!
I was on such a natural high from today's meeting so I used that as fuel for my training at the army's boxing club.  It was like rocket fuel and I was on fire!!!
