As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Feeling Empowered by Empowered

I woke up ready to slay the day. 8am dealings with my supplier in Pakistan, pictures of my design in physical form. My vision is taking form!!! Coming soon.
They look awesome, so great.  I can't wait till they arrive here in the Philippines.
Life of a boxer just got a bit lonelier, walking into an empty boxing club, a new one to me but an old and gritty one at that. With the lights not yet turned on, no music playing and no round bell chiming, the energy of the club is whatever I bring to it.
I was "club" hopping today -- 4 boxing clubs in one day. Training at one, coaching at another, and meetings at two. Dropped by Elite to see the coaches. It's been exactly a week since I last saw them but it felt so much longer than that. I really do miss them.
Empowered small group boxing class tonight over at Hernandez Boxing, in Makati.
Every week we do 12 rounds of boxing but tonight we tried out 4 rounds of partner padwork and then did 2 full body circuits.
Don't be deceived by their gorgeous girl looks, my Empowered sisters just did 12 rounds at my boxing class. Proud of them.
