As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Hump Day Turns Out to be a Big Day

Headed over to MegaWorld for news on whether or not they accepted my business proposal.
Checked out a new space possibility over in McKinley.
Right now it's still being made so it's very much a diamond in the rough.
...a diamond in the very, very rough.
I love this picture.  It was snapped during my afternoon walk with Balboa.
There are always these little kids playing in the field across from my condo. On any given day there are 3-10 of them. They're so super friendly, so sweet and so simple in their intentions -- they just want to play with Balboa and show me their cartwheels. I think they're one of my favourite things about living here in my new place.
I was in pure workaholic mode today, drowning in work, losing sight of the hours I was plugging away on Empowered, when suddenly I got a message from a Philippine Matchmaker.
The outdoor market opens on Wednesday evenings through to Saturday, 3am, and I can see it from my window.  I'm hooked on that Extreme Juice, it's ridiculous.  Even the seller knows it too.  Tonight I caved, I went and was treated to some of it... some of it's ridiculously fabulous awesomeness.
