As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

One Long but Successful Hunt

Behind this closed down and blank wall is a commercial space that's so kickass awesome I spent a good chunk of my day tracking down who is responsible for it.
My search lead me here, to the Grand Canal Venice Mall in McKinley.
With it's beautifully detailed entrance and canal in the middle, I had to giggle at the thought of me being in the Philippines and it looking nothing like what my
friends and family back in Canada probably envision it to be like.
On days like today, when the work is hard and the stress is a lot, I thank God for coffee.

My stress quickly turned into quite the success story though when I was asked to sign in at Megaworld. Finally my search had ended.  I had found what I was looking for.
