As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Blessed by the Struggles Here

Waking up to the firemen doing their drills outside my condo is becoming a regular thing.
I wish I was wide awake and ready to attack the day like them.  Instead, I need coffee first.
I know where I am and I know where I want to go but getting there is the challenge.
Keeping it real and keeping it strong -- my passion, my determination, and of course my coffee.
Took a break from working on Empowered to get in a good sweat.
They say men sweat and women glow... who are "they" though?!  Dude, I sweat like a beast!!!
The simplicity of Balboa helps to keep me grounded.  Because when I start feeling overwhelmed with Empowered, with living as a foreigner in the Philippines, and with being an athlete, I look at him and can't help but smile.  He constantly reminds me I am blessed.
Not too long ago Balboa use to be licking my tears in Korea and now he's trying to lick my smiling face.  Life is so opposite for me now.  It's so incredibly packed with positivity and lots of love.
