As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Starting the New Week Off Super Strong

You think I'm relaxing but I'm really working.  Balboa is the relaxing one here.
Answering business emails and working on video editing via my cellphone.
I started working on Empowered super early so by the time 1pm came around I was mentally needing a break.  Got invited out for a coffee break at High Street so I took my little assistant with me.

The pre-workout and post-workout pictures.
When the pre-workout subs kick in and I feel like I can Hulk smash everything.
Then, post-workout, when I return and feel like I'm on the verge of drowning in my own sweat but am way too exhausted to even save myself if that were to happen.
Still feeling not quite up to par since my injury last week so I had to take a bit of a step back and listen to my body tonight.  No padwork.  I'll do that tomorrow with Coach Bogs.  That'll be the test.
