As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Gearing Up for a Special Day

Kicking off my Friday with a cup of strong coffee, sitting beside a fellow entrepreneur.
If I told you the success of the slay master beside me and how many businesses he owns, you'd spit out your coffee and perhaps even pee your pants.  It's inspiring.
Today I had my special new-found-friend come out for training again and again he killed it.  I was particularly impressed because I had ran into him last night at The Refined's lobster event and then I had seen on his Instagram Story that he was out till after 3am this morning, busting a move on the dance floor.  Talk about no excuses!!!
After slaying it at training, we headed out for a late lunch, Team Insider.
I wanted to treat them all to Crying Tiger but apparently they weren't opening up until 5pm today because it was their 3rd year anniversary.  Congrats to them but boo for us.  We ended up eating Chinese.
