As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Crazy Cool Very and a Crazy Cool Challenge

The view from my 10am business mentoring meeting.
See that big brown building with the pool, that's the Philippine Army gym where I use to box.
My ride home from my meeting today.  It was just way too hot to walk and a jeepney
ride was just too cheap to pass up so I took it.
And what started out as only 2 of us in the back of the jeepney quickly rose to 25, maybe even more,
I don't know.  After 25 I was way too squished to even try to count.
I'm officially signed up for the Kerry Sport's Vertical Run.  It's tomorrow so that means tomorrow's planned day off now gets forced upon today as I let my legs rest for tomorrow's unexpected challenge.
