As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Four Legged Sweethearts of BGC

I left the comfort of my home, with my beautiful Balboa all cuddled up beside me, only to come across this little one and share some cuddles in the rain.
I had initially headed out the door to go pick up lunch but I must have stopped and petted about half a dozen or so cats but it was that little kitten that stole my attention.   Picking her up, I was then faced with one overly jealous adult cat... yikes.
The Cats of BGC are everywhere on High Street.  They're fed by random strangers and given attention to by other random strangers, including me.  Their purpose though, to keep away the rats.
And then there were these two random cool dudes.  Best behaved dogs e-v-e-r!  These sweethearts actually belong to a fellow foreign pro athlete, a male basketball player actually.  Nice guy, sweet dogs!
