As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

From Birthday Celebrations to Special Delivery

Yesterday was Coach Marcelo's birthday but today the celebrations continued with some cake!!!
I gave him some birthday beats but then it was me who took the beats as he pushed super hard at training.  100 ab roll-outs.  That's definitely nothing to laugh about and, trust me, after doing them, even laughing hurts!!!
Balboa's been nursing a knee problem for the last month and a half so he hasn't been able to
walk to The Refined for a bit.  Today, I took him to visit the crew.
The sample of my Lil' Slay gloves arrived today from Pakistan.
Along with the glove samples, one of my hoodies that I let my Pakistan supplier play with, came.
"Lola" means grandma in Tagalog (Filipino) and the sweater reads
"My Lola can punch harder than you!  Woman Up!
Empowered Clubhouse details on the back... love it.
