As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Strong, Positive Friday

Started my morning off on a strong note, coaching two fierce females.  A mother and daughter dynamic duo.  The mother, a 52 years young boss babe.  The daughter, age 10 and a competitive swimmer.  They're both super cool and I love how they both stay active.
Randomly ran into a monkey in the streets of Poblacion so of course I had to snap a picture!!!
A diamond in the rough, a possible location for Empowered.  And, despite it being super rough,
I can definitely see the potential of it as I stood there in the messiness of it.
The best thing of this place is the concrete walls.  Concrete walls mean you can do smash balls against it and the neighbors won't even hear it!
An added perk of the place is the rooftop.  All tenants have access to it.
But there's not just one rooftop actually.  There's three separate rooftop sections.
This is the third rooftop section, an inclosed section with a roof.
I can definitely see myself launching events and whatnot here with Empowered.
