As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Coach, Boxer and Entrepreneur... that's Me

Too early in the morning to be yelling.  My mouth is moving but my head isn't quite digesting what I'm saying.  I think I'm just yelling on auto-pilot.
Proud coach moment when my client hits the heavy bag for the first time ever in her life.
The boxing club was buzzing today and Coach Marcelo was super busy so one of the pro MMA fighters took it upon himself to do padwork with me.  Intimidating, yes, but definitely a great experience.  Funny thing is he reminds me of Snickers so much so, when I first saw him, I really went out of my way to avoid eye contact and ever talking to him.
In between hitting the pads and hitting the bag, one of my design team
ladies showed up for our business meeting.
Piles of Lil' Sista Hoodies and stacks of Empowered Caps, now to hand them out to all the
wickedly sweet supporters who purchased them to help with the Lil' Sistas Project.
