As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Ground Shakers

How ironic that today should start off with an earthquake drill because tonight, oh wow, we definitely shook things up with the One For Freedom event at The Refined.
I started my day off on a kickass inspiring note, coaching one of my fierce clients.
I showed up for the PT session and she was rocking the Empowered Cap and Slay wraps.
My entourage treated me out for breakfast.
Thursdays I always eat breakfast out but this time I was joined by three sweeties.
Met this fab gal in the evening, at the event, and I've got nothing but mad props and love for her, what she's doing, what she represents, and what she's about.  The world needs more women like her!
And then this happened, I gave my speech.  It was about domestic violence and empowerment.
I don't think I'll ever forget this event.  Thank you to everyone who made it possible -- the organizers and all the behind-the-scenes people, the sponsors, the presenters, and the guests.
