As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fri-YAYYYYYY!!!

After a long week, it was so refreshing and quite the pick-me-upper to walk into the boxing club 
and see one of my fierce females slaying her workout with my Empowered Slay gear on... love it!!!
Padwork with Coach Marcelo is always intense but today it was all that more intense because
we turned the camera on to film it.
He killed me... I loved it.
Coach Marcelo, definitely one of my favourite people here in the Philippines.
His awesome energy is just so contagious and positive, and he's always trying to push us to be better.
And then this happened... that's pure emotion right there.  Pure disappointment and frustration as I realize I totally worked out my boxing boots... damn!!!
There's now a massive hole in the right boot.  Thankfully I happen to know a man who could possibly fix this.  He sits on the side of the road with his little shoe shop and every time I pass him to and from boxing, he always says hi.  I took him my boot after boxing and he said he can fix it.  Holy relief.  I have to return to him next week to pick it up.
