As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Busy Bere... Monday, November 12

Today I didn't have any morning clients because one returned to the Philippines last night and one is returning today.  It was a nice day off coaching but it definitely wasn't a day off work.  I wanted it to be a full day off work but with an afternoon interview with the Manila Times, an evening business event, and about a dozen errands to do at the mall and printers for Empowered, I definitely got in a a few days worth of steps all in one day, today.

Nov. 12 -- Today, interview with the Manila Times.
Nov. 21 -- Next week, I'm one of the guest speakers at F* Up Nights.
Nov. 24 -- Launch of the Lil' Sistas Project extension at the Center of Hope.
Nov. 28 -- In two weeks, I'm one of the presenters at the VIA Startup Summit.

I'm always super busy and just when I think there's a break, something else comes up.

Tonight a good thing came up, a very good thing.  I made quite possibly the best connection tonight at the business event I attended.  I met a man whose wife runs a clothing factory.  PERFECT!!! She's exactly who I need to bring into my team to get the ball rolling with my Slay clothing line.  Am super excited to meet this lady who I've already labelled a lifesaver in my life.  Plan is to meet her either later this week or early next.
