As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

The Unpredictable Life of an Entrepreneur

After a full day of crushing it with building my business, after weight training I then slipped into some nice threads and headed out for a business networking event -- the VIP launch party of H&M Moschino.
Arrived at the party and was instantly greeted with some cool finger food.
I didn't go for the finger foods but I did get a jar and fill it up with some sweets.
I'm not a big fashionista nor do I understand what's going on with this fashion, but I will say that together they all looked super cool.  I loved the boldness of the gold and all the leather.
It's a 90-inspired look that's pretty fierce if you ask me.
And then there was a rapper.  I was told he was a massive hit and the people loved him.
They clearly still love him because the crowd went wild!
I ended up scoring a picture with him.  Loved his awesome energy!
I love their energy too -- my crew!  Thanks to my boss babe friend here for being the mastermind behind what you see in H&M stores and inviting us and for her cool hubby for always bringing so much cool factor to the scene.
