As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Ending the Year on a BIG Note

Ending the year at the boxing club, of course, because where else would you expect me to be?
Coach Marcelo changed up my training today, to be reflective of what things I need to work on because of my fight, so I'm very optimistic of what 2019 is going to bring my boxing!!!
It was my first day back to training since my fight and I anticipated going light today but when my manager showed up and insisted we spar, "going light" was thrown out the window.
Talking about anticipating, I anticipated eating dirty tonight but this was flat our ridiculous.
The before and after shots of tonight's shared desserts... I'm pretty convinced that the calorie count in both these desserts alone are more than I usually eat in a week, seriously.  Okay, maybe not that much but it was a ridiculous amount of calories consumed but, and this is the truth, not one guilty vibe felt.
