As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Too Tired to Type... Tuesday, January 29

On Tuesdays I have back-to-back clients, three clients in two different cities.  It means I have to be up by 6:30am, out the door by 7:30am, and I don't get back till about 5pm.

I then have my functional weight training in the evening, at my gym here in BGC.

I went hard with boxing but light with functional training, doing incline treadmill to work on my conditioning and then focusing solely on ab training afterwords.

I posted my top 4 go-to ab exercises on Instagram, did you catch them?

Coach Marcelo introduced me to one of his friends as "Manny Pacqiao's friend" because of the picture of him and I that I posted yesterday.  Too funny.  I'm flattered but I'm not his friend.  Would love to be his boxer though if he ever took up coaching.  I'd even love to solely just train in the same boxing club as him too.  I'd just sit and watch in awe, like a little kid seeing a super hero in real life.
