As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

An International, Crazy Cool Event

I had this great idea today, to use two resistance bands and strap my phone to Coach Marcelo's chest for when we do padwork.  It was hilarious.  We didn't get quite the shots we anticipated but that had to do with the pads obstructing the lens and it not having a panoramic view, but it was still really good.  Go to my Instagram page to check out the video.
Later in the day I attended the British School Manila's special event -- International Night.
There were numerous booths representing different countries so I searched out Canada.
They had hockey and,... of course... they had Tim Horton's coffee.
They had this spectacular long list of entertainment that carried on for hours but one of the best performances I personally liked was that of these little hip hop dancers, all dressed in superhero costumes.
The two Chinese dragons were pretty cool.  Watching them at the starting parade was pretty.
