As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Big Plans, Lil' Sistas

My POV at 8:45am as I take the long commute to Antipolo with a van full of boxing gear.
I've yet to actually touch the ocean or even visit it but whenever I go to coach my Lil' Sistas in Antipolo, I get a glimpse of it.  This the closest I've been to it since moving here 2 years ago.
Planking it out in what turned out to be one of the most impressive things I've seen these girls do.
Leaving my camera laying around means them snapping pictures.  I don't mind.  I actually like it.  It's a cute surprise find on my way home when I am digesting all that went down and their progress.
These girls are awesome and I know many of them don't even know it.
