As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Yes, you read Baguio... Teddy Sage, me, Baguio, and Vlogging, collaborating!!!

Am super excited about this.

They emailed me the other week and asked if they could meet with me to pitch their business proposal for me regarding a potential Vlog collab.  So today I met up with them here in BGC and instantly I got such a good vibe off of them.  There were three of them I met and chatted with.  Their proposal is for a Vlog they're doing called "Trust Your Journey".  I listened, I gave my feedback, and then I agreed to work with them on it.  So, on that note, I'm now going to Baguio to do a Vlog collab with them.  

Super excited.

They're also interested in doing a podcast with me and even possibly donating shirts to my Lil' Sistas Project.

Skittles say that's the "big guy" upstairs looking after me and well, I'm more spiritual than religious, but I believe maybe that's true but maybe it's also because of my hustle.  Maybe my hustle, passion and dedication to what I'm doing is starting to pay off.  God is good and he's good to those who trust in him but I trust in him and I trust in my hustle.  Hustle and heart, that's what I've been putting into the universe since I started my journey with launching Empowered Clubhouse.  

I was so excited after my meeting with them because the project is going to be super cool, Baguio has always been my number one on places to visit in the Philippines because of Paquiao always training there, and the crew from Teddy Sage is just so contagiously positive.  It's going to be pretty awesome working with them on this collab.  I'm definitely looking forward to it.
