As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Just Focused on Life Here

I'm pretty blessed with some fierce females, clients I teach boxing to.  I don't like waking up early,
sure, but it's pretty awesome that I wake up to coach these ladies.  Today I had 3 of them to coach.
I was pretty exhausted after a full day of coaching, planning for the Lil' Sistas Project, and then running errands.  I crashed around 7pm but then managed to head out to the gym for biceps and back.
I've been pretty dedicated to the new workout regime I've got going on with weight training but I too, like so many others, am eager to see progress and changes with my body.  I'm at the point where I love my body for what it can do physically -- in the ring, on the field, in the gym and in life, but I want the outside to be as strong looking as it responds and is on the inside.
