As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Fight Day in QC

It was fight day for some of my teammates from Team Insider today so I jumped on an Angkas and headed all the way out to Quezon City.  Took me an hour and 15 minutes, yikes.

One of the fighters fighting out of my club was fighting Pac's son today.
Pac's son, Jimuel, won the fight.  I vouch that my teammate won regardless of the outcome.
He was flooded with media interviews after the fight, and before the fight too actually.
Of course his opponent, Jimuel, was bombarded too.
Second fighter to fight from my boxing club today and our second loss for the day.
The boxers fought in a MMA cage today, a bit strange of course, but it was also because they had a some MMA fights too.  I wouldn't recommend boxing in a cage.  It's too big, too weird, and leaning your opponent against a cage vs the ring ropes in not the same thing.
