As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Animal House and Distractions

I DO have an office but, honestly, I've been working on the floor here in the first floor lounge because it means "the kids", as we now call them all, have more space to run around, their food and water is here, and they love sleeping on the carpet.  Sitting on the floor though for more than a handful of hours, not exactly comfortable.  Awww, the things we do for our kids, right?!
Downfall of working on the floor, at their level, this right here.
Distraction 1, 2, and 3.  Beautiful distractions, of course, but none the less very distracting.
And you know what else has become a HUGE distraction, this chicken.  It's a homeless chicken that just randomly showed up out of no where and seems to be in love with my neighbour.
There's the homeless chicken, feeling right at home on my neighbour's bike.  Wow.
That is either one overly brave chicken or one incredibly stupid bird.
