As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Love and Frustrations

Happy 1st birthday to the Lil' Sistas Project.
Exactly one year ago today I met these girls and instantly my life was changed.
Now the Lil' Sistas take up a lot of my time and effort but I love it.
Here's me working on the job posting and job contract for the Lil' Sistas.  My brain is fried trying to figure it out and I know I'm making it much more complicated than it has to be but, hey, that's me.
Headed into boxing today at "the new club" and the only one coach who's talked to
me was just finishing his shift for the day.
Mad respect for these signs posted all over the club.  Trainers shouldn't be using their cellphones
while teaching but they also shouldn't be approaching new fighters coming into their gym.
Day 2 of training at the new club.
It was suppose to be Day 1 of training with a new coach
but it turned into Day 2 of me training alone.
