As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

A Full Sunny Sunday

I didn't know until I saw it on Facebook, yesterday was the big B family reunion in Canada.
Even my brother from the States came up for it.  Yet another year I've missed it.
I miss my family, of course, but I'm in love with what I'm doing here.  I love the Lil' Sistas Project.
Today I coached the Lil' Sistas of Taguig.
The more and more I spend time with them, the more I learn about them on an individual level
and it's just so awesome to be a part of these young girls' lives.
After boxing, I always wait a bit till I order my Grab back home.  It's nice to spend some down time with the girls.  This is what happened in our down time together -- one of them braided my hair.  Super big props to her for doing it too, especially considering how super short my hair is.
