As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Back to the Hustle Life... Monday, July 15

Feels so good to be back to the hustle, the entrepreneur/boss babe life.

Feels sooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!

Today I coached 4 fighters.  I was suppose to coach a 5th but she was a no show so here's to hoping she has a good explanation for making me plan her program and then sit on the step waiting for her.  I have way too much on my plate to simply sit around and wait for someone that can't even respond to a text.  Here's to hoping nothing happened to her too.  I just want an explanation.  I'm due that.

My contest for the Messy Bessy giveaway pack concluded today so I drew a winner.

Can I just say, people are lazy.  Wow.

Tag three friends, that's fine.
Follow three Instagram pages, apparently that's fine but pushing it.
Ask them to answer a question that requires them to put some thought into it... too much.

And just like that, with the third requirement of my contest, people jumped off the bandwagon with participating.  I was "asking too much".  Millennials, is all I can say.  I'm sure my dad would jump in here, if given the chance, and tell you all of how back in the day, when he was a kid, he had to walk in waist-high snow a thousand miles to school.  "Kids now day don't know what effort is", he'd add to the story, surely.

For the Six Pack Chef giveaway all people had to do was tag three friends and follow three different Instagram pages.  And BOOM, just like that I had over 400 women connected to my giveaway.  This time I asked them to explain what it means to be empowered.  A little over a handful participated.  Wow.  I was grateful for those who participated though, don't get me wrong, but everyone else... hmmm... frowning my eyebrows here at them all.  Having said that, I decided to throw in an extra prize.  I decided to give a second prize and it consists of some items that Messy Bessy personally gave me for me to use.
