As the story has it, one day I headed to the opposite side of the globe – the Flipside. I arrived in Korea February 16th, 2005 and thought I’d do a year, then leave. I was wrong. I stayed, launched my first company, Flipside Fitness, and then opened Korea's largest boxing club, Hulk's Boxing (now called Hulk's Club).

After 11.5yrs in Korea, I then picked up one day and returned to Toronto, Canada. But then I left again.

Now I live in the Philippines where I am the CEO and head coach of Empowered Clubhouse, the Philippines' first and only boxing clubhouse exclusively just for women. I also am the founder of the Lil' Sistas Project, CEO and designer of Slay Gear and Baa Baa Black Sheep .Ph.

Building My Camp... Saturday, July 6

I'm committed now to launching a fight camp. Now to get details regarding registering my fighter.  Even more importantly though, now to actually get one of my fighters to commit.

Regardless of some "minor, insignificant details, and my sarcasm there, I'm committed.

Tonight I bought a futon.

I said good by to a chunk of my pay check without even a second thought and used it to get a futon so my soon-to-be "mystery" fighter can have the option of living at the clubhouse while they're doing their fight camp -- the four week camp I'll be designing, hosting and managing.

Now to design the camp.

General idea is to keep them as focused as possible on their fight, hence them staying here, and to train them twice a day.  I'm going to train them like a professional fighter and then put them in the ring for an amateur bout.  They'll be doing morning runs, boxing and functional training.  And the plan is to get some of my sponsors on board with this and help support them too.
